Ron Percise followed an All-American junior college basketball career at Campbell College with three fine years at A.C., two as a player and one as an assistant coach.

Percise graduated from Goldsboro High School in 1951 and played in the East-West All-Star basketball classic. At A.C. he continued his excellent play. He was co-captain of the 1955 North State Conference and NAIA District 26 championship basketball team and also captain of the baseball team. He was co-winner of the Kiwanis Cup. In 1956 he completed his degree while serving as an assistant coach in baseball and basketball.

Percise played professional baseball with the New York Giants’ farm system. He  is a salesman for Broden Brick and also a highly-regarded athletic official in NCHSAA circles.

He is married to the former Julia Satterwaite of Farmville. They have three children; Jenannie Webster, Ronald Roy Jr., and Amy. He has three grandchildren.
