Jerry Williams came to Atlantic Christian from Fuquay-Varina High School in 1952, having been a three all-conference selection in basketball and baseball. His biggest two years at A.C. were the sophomore and junior years. In 1953-54 he was All-North State Conference in baseball and first team all-tournament in basketball, winning the Kiwanis Cup as Athlete of the year.

In 1954-55 Williams helped A.C. win the North State Conference and NAIA District 26 championships in basketball. That team went on to compete in the NAIA National Championship basketball tournament in Kansas City, MO. Williams was chosen all conference in baseball and basketball that year, and co-winner of the Kiwanis Award.

In 1955 Williams signed to play baseball with the Milwaukee Braves’ organization. He was in their minor league system until being drafted to the U.S. Army, serving two years at Fort McPherson, GA.

Williams, a manufacturer's representative, resides in Pfafftown. He and his wife, the former Charlotte Rowe of Louisburg, have been married 23 years and have four children; Jerry, Jr., Scarlet, Mark and Jennifer.
