Atlantic Christian tied Southwest Baptist (Mo.) for the national championship in Kansas City, Mo., the second title in six years for the Bulldogs.  Both teams finished with 29 points.

The Bulldogs also captured the league and NAIA District 26 Championships.  Atlantic Christian was especially dominant in the Carolinas Conference Championship, taking all six singles matches and all three doubles contests for the clean sweep.

Jagadish Gowda won the NAIA District 26 Singles Championship while Stefan Vanemo was named the CIAC Men’s Tennis Player of the Year.

Vanemo and Johan Samuelsson both earned All-American honors with Samuelsson advancing to the national semifinals in singles competition.
