WILSON, N.C.-The Barton College women's soccer team will be looking to extend its win streak to four matches when the Lady Bulldogs entertain Erskine College in both squad's first Conference Carolinas match of the 2013 season on Saturday evening during Barton College's Family Weekend.
The showdown is slated for a 5 p.m. first kick at the Barton Outdoor Athletic Complex.

The Lady Bulldogs moved over .500 for the first time this season with a dramatic 1-0 double overtime win at Salem College on Wednesday. Barton is riding a three-game win streak with all three victories being shutouts.
BC's current win streak is the programs longest since the Lady Bulldogs won five consecutive games in the middle of the 2008 campaign. The three shutouts marks the most successive clean sheets posted by Barton's defense since the Lady Bulldogs ended the 2007 season with four straight shutouts.
Senior Taylor Parrish scored the golden goal in Wednesday's road triumph against the Spirits. Parrish leads the Royal Blue and White with three goals and six points. Other point leaders for the Lady Bulldogs are Emily Futral (2G, 4P), Jodi Barber (1G, 1A, 3P), Kasey Byzewski (2A, 2P) and Kathryn Smith (1G, 2P).
Junior goalie Carson Moore has played every minute in net for Barton this season and has a goals against average of 1.74 and a save percentage of .786.
The Lady Bulldogs defense that includes the starting back line of Byzewski, Adrianna Jimenez, Nicole Smith and Lindsay Rembecki has not allowed a goal in over 296 minutes (nearly six hours) of game action.
Barton is 2-0 at home this season.
The Lady Bulldogs dropped its last tilt against Erskine when the two teams met in Due West, S.C., to start the 2012 season. The Flying Fleet prevailed 3-0.
Erskine College Women's Soccer
Erskine slipped to 0-5 overall and 0-4 on the road this season after a narrow 4-3 road loss at USC Beaufort on Tuesday. The Flying Fleet has dropped 14 straight games dating back to a 1-0 win at Mount Olive on Sept. 22, 2012.
Hayley Rogers and Jamie Morris lead Erskine with two goals apiece. Lucy Jeffs has the Fleets only other tally.
Rogers also has one assist on the season to lead Erskine with five points. Brittany Jakiela, Casey Knight and Katherine Coleman all have one helper.
Sophomore netminder Ashton Burgess has started all five games for EC and has as 4.00 goals against average and a 0.677 save percentage.
Rogers scored twice and Morris added an insurance tally in Erskine's 3-nil conquest of Barton last season. However, the Flying Fleet did not return the following players from its 2012 squad: Kimney-Angotti-Smith (two assists against Barton), Casey Craft (1st Team All-Conference), Erin Gray (3rd Team All-Conference) or Katie Lyle (shutout in goal against Barton).
