WILSON, N.C. – The Barton women's soccer team (3-7, 2-5) suffered a second consecutive 1-0 setback, this time to rival Mount Olive (4-6-1, 2-4-1) on Senior Day in a Conference Carolinas contest Saturday at the Bulldogs Athletic Complex.
The lone goal of the match came at the 50:49 mark of the second half when Sierra Criner (Brea, Calif.) scored right in front of the net. The Trojans' Isabella Lugo (Manassas, Va.) was credited with the assist.
Mount Olive held a 16-13 edge in shots taken while the Trojans' goalkeeper, Anais Coyne (Mansfield, Texas), earned the shutout victory. Coyne was credited with the assist.

Lily Diedrich (Severna Park, Md.) suffered the loss despite four saves and allowing just one goal in the contest.
Barton hits the road to take on undefeated Francis Marion on Wednesday, October 15, at 4:30 p.m.
Mount Olive, meanwhile, faces Chowan at home on Wednesday in league action starting at 4:00 p.m.
