As a team, the Lady Bulldogs pulled down a season-high 64 rebounds, the team's highest total since pulling down 67 boards during the 2010-11 season. Barton hit 30 free throws in the contest, its highest total of the season, while holding Pfeiffer to 25.9 percent (7-of-27) shooting from long range.
Freshman Kianna Wynn led all players with 29 points and 16 rebounds for her ninth double-double performance of the year. Sophomore Tatyana Jackson finished with a career-high 21 points to go along with seven rebounds and nine assists, while fellow sophomore Karimah Dean turned in her first career double-double with 10 points and 13 rebounds.

Pfeiffer extended its advantage to 52-40 early in the fourth quarter before BC fought back to take a 58-57 lead with 2:28 remaining on the clock. The Falcons quickly took the lead back following a jump shot from Lauren Janka just 30 seconds later. The two teams scored 10 points each in the first overtime period as Pfeiffer held a three-point lead with 1:42 remaining before redshirt-sophomore Alex Kimble hit a three-pointer with under a minute to play leading to a second overtime period.
The Falcons once again took a three-point lead early in the second overtime as back-to-back layups from Wynn and Jackson put BC ahead by one. Two free throws from freshman Ciera Williams and another layup from Wynn gave Barton a five-point lead that proved to be too much to overcome. Pfeiffer nailed a three-pointer with 20 second left to pull within one point but missed a jumper as time expired to seal its fate.
