GREENVILLE, S.C. – Barton College's
Bailey McIntyre has been named the Conference Carolinas Women's Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week, league officials announced earlier today.
McIntyre, a junior outside hitter from Mooresville, N.C., had over 20 kills in two of the team's three contests last week including a rare triple on Friday versus King on the road.
McIntyre totaled 22 kills, 17 digs and 10 service aces in the five-setter against the Tornado. McIntyre currently leads the team in kills (119), digs (99) and service aces (22).
Emmanuel's Isabel Miller and Francis Marion's Aubrey Johnson have been named the league's libero and setter of the week, respectively.
Barton returns to the court on Tuesday evening at 7:00 p.m., when the Bulldogs host rival Mount Olive at Wilson Gymnasium in a league affair.
