Barton College’s Matt Padgett steps down as Head Baseball Coach

WILSON, N.C. – The Barton College Division of Athletics has announced the resignation of Head Baseball Coach Matt Padgett.

"We thank Matt (Padgett) for his efforts on behalf of Barton College and wish him the best moving forward," said Barton Vice President and Director of Athletics Ken Tyler.

Padgett served one year at the helm for the Bulldogs and came to Barton after serving as an assistant coach at Limestone University in Gaffney, S.C.

The search for the next head coach is underway.
