AHOSKIE, N.C. – The Barton college men's golf team won the Hampton Farms Intercollegiate which concluded Tuesday with the third and final round at the Beechwood Country Club. Chowan University served as the host institution.
The Bulldogs shot a 887 (+23) on the par-72, 7,020-yard course and won by seven strokes over Mount Olive.
In addition, Barton senior
Ryan Jahr (Ocean Isle Beach, N.C.) won the tournament as well thanks to a 219 (+3) performance over 54 holes. In addition, juniors
Winston Knobloch (Winneconne, Wis.) and
Cole Ross (Waunekee, Wis.) tied for third overall for the Bulldogs with a five-over 221.
Barton next competes in the 2026 Conference Carolinas Championship which runs from Sunday, April 19, through Tuesday, April 21, at the Cutter Creek Country Club in Snow Hill, N.C.
