GOLDSBORO, N.C. – Barton College junior
Winston Knobloch won The Trojan Men's Golf Invite which concluded Tuesday at the Walnut Creek Country Club. The University of Mount Olive served as the host institution.
Knobloch, a junior from Winneconne, Wisc., shot an eight-under 208 on the par-72, 6,951-yard course. Knobloch won by five strokes while the Bulldogs, as a team, finished runner-up with an 868 (+4).
Lenoir-Rhyne took home team honors thanks to a one-under 863 performance over 54 holes of competition.
Barton next competes in the Hampton Farms Intercollegiate on Monday, April 6, and Tuesday, April 7, at the Beachwood Country Club in Ahoskie, N.C.
