INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Barton College's
Ryan Jahr has qualified as an individual to the 2026 NCAA Division II South/Southeast Men's Golf Regional Championship which takes place Thursday, May 7, through Saturday, May 9, at the Valdosta Country Club in Valdosta, Ga.
Jahr, a senior from Ocean Isle Beach, N.C., will be playing in the regional championship for the fourth straight year. Over the last three seasons, Jahr played as part of the Bulldogs' team.
Jahr, a three-time All-Conference Carolinas pick (2024-26), led the squad this year with an adjusted scoring of 71.7 per round.
Jahr also earned conference championship all-tournament honors this year and led the Bulldogs to a second-place finish. In addition, Jahr won the Hampton Farms Intercollegiate in Ahoskie, N.C., on Monday, April 13 and Tuesday, April 14.
Jahr garnered all-league accolades for the third straight season and leads the squad this year with an adjusted scoring average of 71.7. Jahr also has three top-three finishes this year and won the Hampton Farms Intercollegiate (April 13-14) in Ahoskie, N.C
At a minimum, the top three teams and the top two student-athletes not with a team from each regional will advance to the 2026 NCAA Division II Men's Golf Championship which takes place on Monday, May 18, through Friday, May 22, at the Boulder Creek Golf Club in Boulder City, Nevada.
