GREENWOOD, S.C. – The Barton women's golf team competed at the Greenwood Invitational which wrapped up competition at the Greenwood Country Club.
No. 8 Lander, the host institution, won the three-round event with an 886 (+22) on the par-72, 6,037-yard course while Montevallo's Ainoa Ruiz (Valencia, SPAIN) was the top individual.
Ruiz shot a one-over 217 after 54 holes of competition while sophomore
Shelby Herbert (Charlotte Hall, Md.) was the top Bulldog in the tournament. Herbert tied for 27th overall with a 236 (+20).
Barton next competes in the 2026 Conference Carolinas Championship which takes place from Sunday, April 12, through Tuesday, April 14, at the Spartanburg Country Club in Spartanburg, S.C.
