GREENVILLE, S.C. – Barton College's
Shelby Herbert and
Terra Schmitt were named to the 2025-26 All-Conference Carolinas Women's Golf Team.
Herbert, a sophomore from Charlotte Hall, Md., ranked second on the team in adjusted scoring average (76.5) and totaled four top-three finishes including a victory at the Converse Spring Invite (March 9-10) in Spartanburg, S.C.
Herbert also took third at the 2026 Conference Carolinas Championship to earn all-tournament honors (April 12-14) in Spartanburg, S.C. In addition, Herbert garnered all-league accolades for the second straight year.
Schmitt, a junior from Wake Forest, N.C., is now a three-time all-conference selection who led the team in scoring average adjusted (75.6).
Schmitt also won two tournaments this year – Golden Mane Classic (Commerce, Ga.) on Sept. 8-9 and the Converse Fall Invite (Spartanburg, S.C.) on Oct. 27-28 – and was a league all-tournament selection this year after taking eighth at the conference championship.
