SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Barton's
Shelby Herbert carded a 149 (+5) to win the Converse Spring Women's Golf Invite presented by Founders FCU which concluded Tuesday at The Carolina Country Club.
Herbert, a sophomore from Charlotte Hall, Md., notched her second straight top two finish while Emmanuel took home team honors with a 633 (+57) on the par-72, 5,816-yard course.
Barton finished seventh overall with a 690 (+114) after 36 holes of competition.
Barton next competes in the Greenwood Invitational in Greenwood, S.C., on Monday, March 23, and Tuesday, March 24, at the Greenwood Country Club.
