PAWLEYS ISLAND, S.C. – The Barton men's golf team finished 11th overall at the Spring Bulldog Clash which concluded Tuesday at the Caledonia Golf & Fish Club.
Barton shot an 887 (+47) on the par-70, 6,317-yard course while USC Aiken won the 54-hole tournament with an 857 (+17).
The Bulldogs were led by junior
Winston Knobloch (Winneconne, Wisc.), who tied for ninth overall with a 214 (+4). Meanwhile, Barton senior
Ryan Jahr (Ocean Isle Beach, N.C.) finished with a six-over 216, good for an 11th-place finish.
Lenoir-Rhyne's Sean Finan (Winston-Salem, N.C.) was the individual medalist thanks to a one-under 209 performance, the only golfer under par.
Barton next competes in the Greenwood Invitational on Monday, March 8, and Tuesday, March 9, at the Greenwood Country Club in Greenwood, S.C.
