INSTITUTE, W.Va. – The Barton football team (0-1) looks to pick up its first win of the year when the Bulldogs travel to play the Yellow Jackets of West Virginia State. Kickoff at Lakin-Ray Field at Dickerson Stadium is set for Noon.
Barton hopes to bounce back after falling to Virginia State by a 35-7 score last Thursday night in the season opener at home.

West Virginia State suffered a 41-10 loss to Carson-Newman last Saturday afternoon in Jefferson City, Tenn., in its season opener.
The Yellow Jackets pulled out a 27-24 victory over the Bulldogs last year in the only other meeting between the two schools on Thursday, September 5, in Wilson, N.C.
Barton is a member of the newly-formed football league of the Conference Carolinas while West Virginia State is a member of the Mountain East Conference.
The Bulldogs are led by sixth-year mentor
