GREER, S.C. – The Barton women's golf team tied for fifth overall out of 13 teams at the Upstate Fall Intercollegiate which concluded with the second and final round Tuesday at the Greer Country Club.
The Bulldogs carded a 643 (+67) on the par-72, 5,801-yard course while Erskine won the event with a 603 (+27).
Barton was led by junior
Terra Schmitt (Wake Forest, N.C.), who tied for fifth overall with a 153 (+9) over 36 holes of competition.
The Flying Fleet's Lina Lindqvist (Lahti, FINLAND) was the individual medalist thanks to a plus-two 146 performance.
Barton next competes in the Newberry Invitational at the Grand Harbor Golf Club in Greensboro, Ga., on Monday, October 13, and Tuesday, October 14.
