GREENVILLE, N.C. – The Barton men's golf team, against mostly NCAA Division I competition, took 12th overall at the 2025 Ironwood Collegiate Classic which concluded earlier this week at the Ironwood Golf & Country Club.
The Bulldogs finished the three-round competition with an 885 (+21) on the par-72, 7,120-yard course. East Carolina University, the host school, won the tournament thanks to a 23-under 841 performance.

Ryan Jahr (Ocean Isle Beach, N.C.) was the top Bulldogs' golfer for the tournament, tying for 27th overall with an even-par 216.
The Pirates' Philip Bondestad (Drobak, NORWAY) was the individual champion after firing an 11-under 205 over 54 holes of competition.
Barton returns to the links on Monday, October 6, and Tuesday, October 7, at the Koala Invite in Wagram, N.C., at the Deercroft Golf Club.
