ALBANY, Ga. – The Barton men's golf team finished 10th overall at the Hurricane Invitational which concluded with the third and final round Tuesday at the Doublegate Country Club. Georgia Southwestern served as the host institution.
Barton finished the 54-hole tournament with a 900 (+36) while Florida Southern, ranked No. 7 in NCAA Division II, won the event with a six-under 858.
Barton was led by junior
Giovanni Bruno (Padova, ITALY), who tied for 10th overall with an even-par 216.
Tampa's Mohit Balaji (Reunion, Fla.) was the individual medalist thanks to a five-under 211 performance.
Barton next competes in the Ironwood Collegiate Classic on Monday, September 29, and Tuesday, September 30, in Greenwood, N.C.
