Barton men’s golf set to compete in the 2025 NCAA Division II South/Southeast Regional Championship

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Barton men's golf team is scheduled to compete in the 2025 NCAA Division II South/Southeast Regional Championship which is set to begin on Thursday, May 8, at the Mission Inn Golf & Resort at Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla.  The tournament is 54 holes over three days.

Barton is making its fourth consecutive appearance in the regionals and earned a berth this season after capturing the Conference Carolinas Championship for the third straight year.  The league tournament was played at the Carolina Country Club in Spartanburg, S.C., in the middle of April.

At a minimum, the top three teams and the top two student-athletes not with a team from each regional will advance to the national championship which takes play from Monday, May 19, through Friday, May 23, at PGA National Resort in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.

The remaining eight team berths will be allocated based on the regions represented in the prior year's head-to-head medal play portion of the championships, with the maximum number of teams from a given region capped at seven. The finals will be hosted by Palm Beach Atlantic and the Palm Beach County Sports Commission.
