GREENVILLE, S.C. – Barton College's
Ali Bunch has been named to the 2025 All-Conference Carolinas Softball Second Team, league officials announced earlier today.
Bunch, a sophomore utility player from Wilmington, N.C., is batting .369 with 11 runs scored and 12 RBI and sports a 4-3 record on the mound with a 4.11 earned run average, one shutout and 41 strikeouts.

Makenzie Cyzick (Dayton, Va.) earned all-league defensive team honors. Cyzick leads the team in batting average (.340), runs scored (40) and hits (52) and is 43-of-43 in stolen base attempts. Cyzick has a .989 field percentage with just one error committed all season.
Barton (25-21) is the third seed in the 2025 Conference Carolinas Softball Championship and will play either No. 6 Southern Wesleyan or No. 11 Converse on Friday, April 25, at a time to be determined.
