INMAN, S.C. – Barton junior
Terra Schmitt (Wake Forest, N.C.) won the rain-shortened Converse Fall Women's Golf Invite by Founder FCU Tuesday at the Woodfin Ridge Golf Course.
Schmitt shot an even-par 72 in the only round of competition after the tournament was shortened due to rain.
The individual championship was the second this fall for Schmitt: the Golden Mane Classic was other tournament on Monday, September 8, and Tuesday, September 9, in Commerce, Ga., was the other.
Barton, as a team, finished eighth overall with a 324 (+36) on the par-72, 5,841-yard course while Belmont Abbey took first overall thanks to a 21-over 309 performance.
