GREENVILLE, S.C. – Barton College's
Jackson Parrish has been named the Conference Carolinas Football Offensive Player of the Week, league officials announced earlier today.
Parrish, a sophomore running back from Graham, N.C., earns the weekly honor for the second straight week.
Parrish rushed for a career-high and league-record 221 yards and three touchdowns in the Bulldogs' 28-21 victory over league-foe Chowan last Saturday at Truist Stadium.
Parrish, a 2024 All-South Atlantic Conference Piedmont Division honoree, has rushed for over 200 yards in consecutive victories over the Hawks and Ferrum, respectively. Parrish leads the team in rushing yards (687) and touchdowns (eight) this season.
North Greenville's Bryson Oliver and Bryan Frey have been named the league's defensive and special teams players of the week.
Barton (2-5, 2-1) hosts Shorter (1-7, 0-4) for Homecoming this Saturday, October 25, at 2:00 p.m.
