FERRUM, Va. – The Barton football team (1-5, 1-1) picked up its first victory of the 2025 season with a 34-20 triumph over Ferrum (2-4, 1-2) Saturday afternoon in a Conference Carolinas game at W.B. Adams Stadium.

Al Lee (Reidsville, N.C.) passed for two scores and ran for another as the Bulldogs bolted out to a 24-0 advantage early in the fourth quarter and never looked back in the triumph.

Jackson Parrish (Graham, N.C.) added a career-high 218 yards on the ground and scored on a 39-yard touchdown run in the third stanza as the Bulldogs produced season-highs in points and total yards (431) in the victory.

Isaiah Jacobs (Raleigh, N.C.) in the second quarter to open the scoring.
Meanwhile, sophomore defensive back
Savionne Rogers (New Orleans, La.) finished with a team-high 11 tackles and junior linebacker
Keno Jones (Rocky Mount, N.C.) had a pair of quarterback sacks to lead the Bulldogs on defense.
The Panthers' quarterback, Eli Foutz (Rocky Mount, Va.), threw for 245 yards and three touchdowns but was sacked three times and threw an interception in the loss.
Barton returns home to take on Chowan in a conference game next Saturday, October 18, at 4:00 p.m., at Electric Supply Company Field and Truist Stadium. Ferrum, meanwhile, travels to Cleveland, Miss., to take on No. 20 Delta State on Saturday starting at 1:00 p.m.
