GREENSBORO, Ga. – The Barton women's golf team finished third overall out of 10 teams Tuesday at the 2025 Newberry Invitational which concluded with the second and final round at the Grand Harbor Golf Club.
The Bulldogs shot a 649 (+73) on the par-72, 5,919-yard course while Coker won the two-round tournament with a 641 (+65).
Auburn-Montgomery's Kyliegh Gibson (Smiths Station, Ala.) won the tournament with an even-par 144 while sophomore
Shelby Herbert (Charlotte Hall, Md.) was the Bulldogs' top golfer.
Herbert tied fourth overall with a 12-over 156 over 36 holes of competition.
Barton wraps up the fall season with the Converse Invitational on Monday, October 27, and Tuesday, October 28, at the Woodfin Ridge Golf Course in Inman, S.C.
