McCORMICK, S.C. – The Barton men's golf team opened the 2024 Fall Season with an 11th-place finish at the Bearcat Fall Classic which concluded Tuesday at the Monticello Golf Club.
The Bulldogs, ranked No. 23 in NCAA Division II, totaled a 12-over 876 on the par-72, 7,032-yard course while second-ranked North Georgia won the event thanks to a 28-under 836 performance.

Ryan Jahr (Ocean Isle Beach, N.C.) was the top performer for the Bulldogs, tying for 31st overall with an even-par 216 after 36 holes of play. West Florida's Cooper Tendick (Kennesaw, Ga.) was the top individual after firing a 12-under 204.
Barton next travels to Gainesville, Ga., to compete in the Mizuno Intercollegiate on Monday, September 23, and Tuesday, September 24, at the Chattahoochee Golf Club.
