KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Barton College's
Jordan Terrell has been named the D2Football.com National Offensive Player of the Week.
Terrell, a junior running back from Ramseur, N.C., rushed for 256 yards and two touchdowns including the game-winning 63-yard score late in the fourth quarter last Saturday at Truist Stadium in the Bulldogs' 28-24 victory over UVA Wise in the South Atlantic Conference opener.
Terrell, who currently leads NCAA Division II in rushing at 194.0 yards per game, was recently named the SAC Offensive Player of the Week for his efforts against the Cavaliers.
Terrell is a two-time All-Super Region II honoree and a 2022 honorable mention All-American who currently has compiled 4,337 yards on the ground to go along with 37 touchdowns so far in his Bulldogs' career.
Central Washington's Tanner Volk and Shorter's Trey Thomas were named D2Football.com's Defensive and Special Teams Players of the Week.

Barton (3-0, 1-0) looks to remain unbeaten when the Bulldogs travel to Mars Hill, N.C., to take on Mars Hill (2-0, 1-0) in a South Atlantic Conference contest this upcoming Saturday beginning at 1:00 p.m.
