SNOW HILL, N.C. – The Barton women's golf team wrapped up the second round of competition Monday at the 2023 Conference Carolinas Championship at the Cutter Creek Golf Club.
The Bulldogs stand in ninth place after totaling a 687 (+111) through two rounds while UNC Pembroke leads with a 616 (+40), seven shots better than Erskine.
Barton is led by junior
Elyse Godding (Bradford, Pa.), who is tied for 17th overall with a 159 (+15) after 36 holes of play. Meanwhile, junior
Taylor Capps (Middlesex, N.C.) and senior
Grace Greene (Apex, N.C.) both totaled a 171 (+27) and are tied for 38th for the Bulldogs.
With one round to go, UNC Pembroke's Amanda Hamrin (Vasteras, SWEDEN) leads the tournament with a four-over 148.
The third and final round takes place on Tuesday.
