WILSON, N.C. – The Bulldogs' men's golf team rolled to victory at the 2022 Barton Intercollegiate which concluded Tuesday with the third and final round at the Wilson Country Club.
Barton totaled an 851 (-13) on the par-72, 6,867-yard course and won by 32 strokes over Southern Wesleyan. The Bulldogs also won their second straight tournament – they finished first at the Bearcat Classic last week in Greenwood, S.C. – and won their own intercollegiate tournament for the third straight year.

Bryson Boyette (Wilson, N.C.) was the top individual after carding a nine-under 207 over 54 holes. Boyette, an honorable mention All-American in 2020, won his third consecutive tournament this spring and claimed the Barton Intercollegiate Championship for the third time in his career (2018 and 2021 were the other years).

Muhammad Afif Mohd Fathi (Kejang, MALAYSIA) took second with a one-under 215 while teammate and freshman
Daniel Adkins (Holly Springs, N.C.) finished with an even-par 216, good for third place.
Barton returns to the links on Monday, March 28, and Tuesday, March 29, when the Bulldogs compete in The Trojan at the Walnut Creek Country Club in Goldsboro, N.C.
