PAWLEY'S ISLAND, S.C. – Barton College's
Bryson Boyette won the 2022 Spring Bulldog Men's Golf Clash which concluded Tuesday afternoon at the Caledonia Golf & Fish Club.
Boyette, a senior from Wilson, N.C., shot a seven-under 203 on the par-70, 6,526-yard course and won in a first-hole playoff over Rogers State's Luke Palmowski (Rotherham, ENGLAND). Rogers State was the top team overall with a five-over 845 after three rounds of play. Barton, the host school, took fourth place overall with an 861 (+21).
Boyette, a 2020 honorable mention All-American and a three-time all-Southeast Region pick (2019-21), won the fourth tournament in his collegiate career.
Rogers State won by five strokes over Lenoir-Rhyne. Junior
Harrison Wierse (Wilmington, N.C.) tied for 15th overall with a 217 (+7) after 54 holes for the Bulldogs.
Barton next competes in the Bearcat Classic on Monday, March 7, and Tuesday, March 8, at the Greenwood Country Club in Greenwood, S.C.
