KANNAPOLIS, N.C. – The Barton men's golf team concluded its Fall 2021 season with a seventh-place tie out of 18 teams at the Queens University Invitational Tuesday afternoon at The Club at Irish Creek.
The Bulldogs carded a six-under 846 on the par-71, 7,094-yard course while Carson-Newman won the 54-hole tournament thanks to a 25-under 827 performance. The Eagles bested both No. 8 USC Aiken (828, -24) and No. 5 Lincoln Memorial (829, -23).
Barton was led by
Muhammad Afif Mohd Fathi (Kejang, MALAYSIA), who tied for tenth overall with a seven-under 206 after 54 holes of play. Senior
Bryson Boyette (Wilson, N.C.) totaled a 208 (-5) for the Bulldogs while Lincoln Memorial's Harry Lord (Lancashire, ENGLAND) was the top individual with an 11-under 202.
