2013 Conference Carolinas Postseason Awards
SUMTER, S.C.-Barton College sophomore Alicia Lasry was selected to the 2013 Conference Carolinas Women's Tennis Second Team All-Conference list that was announced at the tennis banquet on Thursday evening.
Lasry boasted an impressive 11-7 overall record in her second season for the Lady Bulldogs playing mostly in the second singles position in the lineup. Lasry led Barton with a 7-3 mark in league contests.
Barton picked up its second straight 10-win season with strong play by Lasry and several other Lady Bulldogs throughout its roster.
The Caracas, Venezuela, native was named the Conference Carolinas Player of the Week on February 13.
Lasry also accumulated seven doubles wins sharing time between the top two doubles positions.
Barton entered the 2013 Conference Carolinas Tournament as the No. 6 seed and plays third-seeded Queens University of Charlotte in the quarterfinals on Friday at Noon.
