GREENVILLE, S.C. – Five members of the Barton men's volleyball team earned 2025 All-Conference Carolinas honors, league officials announced earlier today.
Barton sophomore middle blocker
Ryan Geraci (Mukwonago, Wis.) and sophomore libero
Jose Ruiz (Miami, Fla.) were named to the all-conference second team while senior outside hitter
Jack Sandahl (Gloucester, Va.), freshman outside hitter
Lawson Hink (Brookfield, Wis.) and senior setter
Seth Deppe (Mukwonago, Wis.) garnered third-team all-league laurels.
Geraci leads the team with 105 blocks – second-best in the league (1.18 per game) – to go along with 112 kills while Ruiz ranks first on the squad in digs with 185.
Hink has a team-high 255 kills and ranks second in digs (175) in addition to being named the league freshman of the month in January and was a one-time league player of the week.
Sandahl's totals include 232 kills (second on the squad), 112 digs and 57 blocks while Deppe leads the team in assists (822) to go along with 17 service aces, 174 digs and 56 blocks.
Deppe, a two-time league specialist of the week, is No. 3 on the school's all-time list for assists with 2,462.
Barton (16-12) is the third seed in the 2025 Conference Carolinas Men's Volleyball Championship and will take on second-seeded Belmont Abbey (15-8) in the semifinals on Friday, April 25, at 7:30 p.m., at the Student Center Complex in Bristol, Tenn.
