CARY, N.C. – The Barton men's and women's swimming teams both currently sit in fifth place after Thursday's results at the 2025 Conference Carolinas Championships which are taking place at the Triangle Aquatic Center.
The Bulldogs' women's squad has 122 points while Emmanuel leads with 286 points. On the men's side, Barton has 138 points while Emmanuel (305 points) currently sits at the top of the leaderboard.

Megan Schueller (La Plata, Md.) earned all-league honors after finishing second in the women's 50-yard freestyle (23.65 seconds), good for an NCAA Division II "B" cut time.
Schueller was also part of the women's 200-yard medley relay which took third overall to garner all-league accolades with a time of 1:47.50. Joining Schueller on the quartet included seniors
Sydney Hopkins (Pickerington, Ohio) and
Cristal Perdomo (Fredericksburg, Va.) and junior
Cali Younker (Blaine, Tenn.).
The third day of competition takes place on Friday. The preliminaries take place at 10:00 a.m., while the final start at 5:00 p.m.
