SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Barton women's golf team finished fifth overall at the 2024 Conference Carolinas Championship which concluded Tuesday with the third and final round at the Carolina Country Club.
The Bulldogs carded a 967 (+103) on the par-72, 5,801-yard course while North Greenville won the league title for the first time ever after totaling a 930 (+66).
The Crusaders earned an automatic bid to the NCAA Division II South Regional Championship which takes place at the Cleveland Country Club in Cleveland, Tenn., from Monday, May 6, through Wednesday, May 8. Lee University will serve as the host institution.

Terra Schmitt (Wake Forest, N.C.) earned all-tournament honors after finishing in fourth place with a 228 (+12) after three rounds of play. Seniors
Grace Greene (Apex, N.C.) and
Elyse Godding (Bradford, Pa.) both tied for 15th overall with a 242 (+26) for the Bulldogs.
North Greenville's Nicole Kramer (Charlotte, N.C.) was the individual medalist after winning in a playoff over Emmanuel's Mara Martinez (Albacete, SPAIN). Both players carded a 224 (+8) for the tournament.
