SALISBURY, N.C. – Barton College's
Gabriel Slemer Lopes has been named to the 2024 D2CCA NCAA Division II All-Southeast Region Men's Soccer Second Team. D2CAA is the Division II Conference Commissioner's Association.
Slemer Lopes, a senior forward from Sao Paulo, BRAZIL, ranked first on the team in points this fall with 15 while scoring seven goals and dishing out seven assists.
Slemer Lopes is a three-time All-Conference Carolinas selection (2021, 2023-24) who has totaled 17 goals, 20 assists and 54 points in a Barton uniform.
The Division II Conference Commissioners Association encourages and promotes Division II athletics and high standards of sportsmanship as important elements of higher education. The CCA is a key communications link among the conferences as they discuss views, policies and regulations that impact Division II intercollegiate athletics and works closely with the NCAA as a communications channel to NCAA Division II member colleges and universities.
