WILSON, N.C. – Barton College has removed the interim title from Head Men's Soccer Coach
Lorran Antonelli, school officials announced today. Antonelli is now the program's permanent head coach.

Coach Lo (Antonelli) did a great job this season and has earned this promotion," said Ken Tyler, Barton Vice President and Director of Athletics. "
I'm confident that our men's soccer program is in good hands under his leadership."
Under his interim status this fall season, Antonelli led the Bulldogs to a 7-5-2 overall record, a 4-4-2 mark in Conference Carolinas play and a No. 4 seed in the league championship.
Antonelli played four seasons (2016-19) on the Barton College men's soccer team and was a member of the Dean's List while graduating in 2020.
As a center back, Antonelli was a two-year all-league honoree and garnered all-state honors in 2019. A two-time team Most Valuable Player as well, Antonelli earned his MBA from Barton in 2021.
Antonelli, a native of Campinas, Brazil, has been on the Bulldogs' coaching staff for the past four years.
