WILSON, N.C. – The Bulldogs' women's golf team finishes in fourth place at the 2021 Barton Intercollegiate which wrapped up Tuesday with the second and final round at the Wilson Country Club.
Barton shot a 629 (+85) on the par-68, 5,357-yard course while Mount Olive won the 36-hole tournament with a 600 (+56).
Barton was led by senior
Nikki Norlin (Innisfail, Alberta, CANADA), who tied for sixth overall with a 151 (+15). The Trojans' Emma Leclercq was the top overall competitor after firing a 143 (+7). In addition, senior
Clare McMahon (Red Deer, Alberta, CANADA) tied for 10th overall after totaling a 154 (+18) over two rounds of play.
Barton returns to the course in three weeks when the Bulldogs compete in the 2021 Conference Carolinas Championship which takes place from Sunday, April 11, through Tuesday, April 13, at the Carolina Country Club in Spartanburg, S.C.
