GREENVILLE, S.C. – Barton College's
Terra Schmitt and
Shelby Herbert were named to the 2024-25 All-Conference Carolinas Women's Golf Team, league officials announced earlier today.
Schmitt, a sophomore from Wake Forest, N.C., earns all-league honors for the second straight season. Schmitt led the Bulldogs with a 76.5 stroke average and was named to 2025 Conference Carolinas Championship All-Tournament Team after finishing fifth overall at the tournament earlier in the week at the Cutter Creek Golf Club in Snow Hill, N.C.
Schmitt also won the King Invitational (Sept. 23-24) at the Golf Club of Bristol in Bristol, Tenn.
Herbert, a freshman from Charlotte Hall, Md., ranked second on the team in scoring average (78.3) and was named to the all-tournament team after taking fourth place at the Converse Invite (Oct. 28-29) at the Woodfin Golf Club in Irmo, S.C.
Barton women's golf finished fourth overall at the league championship this season.
