HIGH POINT, N.C. – Barton College's Daria Avram has been named to the 2019 All-Conference Carolinas Women's Tennis Second Team, league officials announced earlier today.
Avram, a senior from Buzau, ROMANIA, was named to the all-league second team for the second consecutive year after finishing the 2019 season with a record of 13-9 overall including an 8-3 mark in league play. Avram played at first singles the entire season.
Avram also earned eight victories at No. 1 doubles including four triumphs in league play. For her Bulldogs' career, Avram totaled 66 wins: 36 in singles' play and 30 in doubles' competition.
Barton (14-9) ended its season with a 4-1 setback to Mount Olive (11-8) in the quarterfinals of the 2019 Conference Carolinas Championship Friday at the Palmetto Tennis Center in Sumter, S.C.
