WILSON, N.C. – Barton's
Aniya Heckstall has been named the Chick-fil-A Student-Athlete of the Week.
Heckstall, a junior from Scotland Neck, N.C., and a member of the Bulldogs' women's indoor track and field team, won both the women's 60-meter dash (7.67) and the women's long jump (a school-record 18'4") at the Betty S. Rogers Invitational in Virginia Beach, Va., this past Sunday.
The Barton indoor track and field teams next compete in the 2025 Conference Carolinas Championships on Sunday, February 23, and Monday, February 24, at the JDL Fast Track in Winston-Salem, N.C.
