WILSON, N.C. – The Barton football team (2-7, 2-3) will host Erskine (1-8, 1-4) for Senior Night in a Conference Carolinas game Saturday evening at Electric Supply Company Field and Truist Stadium. Kickoff is set for 5:00 p.m.
The Bulldogs are coming off a 34-17 loss to UNC Pembroke this past Saturday in Pembroke, N.C. Barton junior wide receiver
Luke Smith (Reidsville, N.C.) caught a pair of touchdown passes as the Bulldogs couldn't hold first-half leads of 10-0 and 17-7, respectively, in the setback.
UNC Pembroke rallied by scoring the final 27 points of the contest and were led by quarterback Tre Robinson (Charlotte, N.C.). Robinson led accounted for a pair of touchdowns including the game-winning score in addition to a team-high 199 yards passing and 99 yards rushing in the victory.

Jackson Parrish (Graham, N.C.) leads the team in rushing yards (807) to go along with eight touchdowns while junior linebacker
Keno Jones (Rocky Mount, N.C.) is the squad's top tackler (105) to go along with three quarterback sacks.
Erskine is coming off a 34-30 loss to Chowan. The Hawks' Antwone Godley (Washington, N.C.) returned a kickoff 82 yards for a touchdown with 48 seconds left which proved to be the game-winner. Erskine's Ryan Killmer (Saint Augustine, Fla.) passed for 210 yards and three scores despite the loss. Killmer leads the team with 1,451 yards passing and 11 touchdowns on the season.
Erskine is led by third-year mentor Shap Boyd while the Bulldogs are headed up by
Chip Hester, who is in his sixth season at the helm. Barton leads the all-time series with Erskine, 3-1.
