GREENVILLE, S.C. – Barton College's
Bailey Carraway has been named the Conference Carolinas Football Defensive Player of the Week, league officials announced earlier today.
Carraway, a senior defensive tackle from Hartsville, S.C., finished with six tackles and three quarterback sacks in leading the Bulldogs' defense in a 37-7 league win at home over Erskine this past Saturday night.
On the season, Carraway has 40 takedowns including 6.5 tackles for a loss and a forced fumble.
North Greenville's Dylan Ramirez (Offense) and Chowan's Jack Beylo (Special Teams) also earned league player-of-the-week accolades, respectively.
Barton (3-7, 3-3) wraps up the season at home on Saturday, November 15, at 6:00 p.m., when the Bulldogs host rival Chowan (3-7, 2-4) at Truist Stadium and Electric Supply Company Field.
