GAFFNEY, S.C. – The Barton football team (3-6, 2-5) will look to make it two victories in a row when the Bulldogs travel to Gaffney, S.C., to take on Limestone (6-3, 5-2) on Saturday afternoon in a South Atlantic Conference Piedmont Division contest at Saints Field. Kickoff is set for Noon.
The Bulldogs are coming off a rousing victory over Catawba, 49-35, this past Saturday on Homecoming at Truist Stadium to snap a four-game losing streak.
Barton finished with a season-high 539 yards of total offense while freshman running back
Jackson Parrish (Graham, N.C.) rushed for a game-high 152 yards and three touchdowns and quarterback
Al Lee (Reidsville, N.C.), making his first collegiate start, passed for 215 yards and a pair of scores in the win.
On defense, junior defensive back
Nasir Winston (New York, N.Y.) returned an interception 32 yards for a touchdown and recovered a fumble which led to another score as the Bulldogs also scored a season-high in points.

Jayden Flood-Brown (Newport News, Va.) is the Bulldogs' top receiver as he tops the squad in catches (39), yards (562) and touchdowns (four) while senior defensive back
Dereck Barringer (Rockingham, N.C.) is the team's top tackler (78) this fall.
Limestone currently sits in second place in the division after downing Newberry by a 35-14 score last Saturday on the road with quarterback Dustin Noller (Rock Hill, S.C.) leading the way with 308 yards passing and a touchdown.
The Saints have one of the top offenses in the league, averaging 33.6 points and 426.4 yards per game. Noller has 2,418 yards passing and 25 touchdowns compared to only six interceptions and is an all-league performer.
Limestone earned a berth in the NCAA Division II Playoffs before falling to Valdosta State in the opening round in 2023 and are led by first-year mentor Jerricho Cotchery. Barton is led by fifth-year mentor
