GREENVILLE, S.C. – Barton's
Natan Alexandre has been named the Conference Carolinas Men's Swimmer of the Week, league officials announced earlier today.
Alexandre, a junior from Sao Paulo, BRAZIL, led the Bulldogs to victories over Chowan and William Peace in a tri-meet this past Saturday at the Willis R. Casey Aquatic Center on the campus of North Carolina State University.
Alexandre took first place in both the men's 100-yard (58.94 seconds) and 200-yard (2:15.22) breaststroke events and was part of Barton's winning men's 200-yard medley relay (1:38.50).
Alexandre was the 2024 Conference Carolinas Men's Swimming Champion in the men's 200-yard breaststroke and earned all-league accolades in the men's 100-yard breaststroke.
Barton next competes in the Pacer Invite on Friday, November 22, and Saturday, November 23, at the Triangle Aquatic Center in Cary, N.C.
