WILSON, N.C. - The Barton women's volleyball team (5-10, 3-5) pulled out a 3-2 Conference Carolinas victory over North Greenville (7-8, 3-4) Saturday afternoon at Wilson Gymnasium.

The Bulldogs won over the Trailblazers by scores of 13-25, 26-24, 25-19, 6-25 and 15-13.

Barton was led by senior outside hitter Mattie Wells (Elkin, N.C.) and freshman right side hitter Brenna Hasey (Jupiter, Fla.) with 15 and 14 kills, respectively, while graduate student setter Paige Bagwell (Kings Mountain, N.C.) tallied a double-double - 24 assists and 13 digs - in the victory.

North Greenville's Peyton Taylor (Arden, N.C.) and Samantha Bell (Saint Paul, Minn.) both tallied 12 kills and the Trailblazers totaled 14 services despite the loss.

Barton hits the road to take on UNC Pembroke on Tuesday night in league action beginning at 6:00 p.m., in Pembroke, N.C.

North Greenville, meanwhile, hosts King in a conference contest Tuesday evening at 7:00 p.m.
