SAINT AUGUSTINE, Fla. – The Barton men's golf team kicked off the Fall 2026 campaign at the Jay Jennison Cup which concluded Tuesday at the World Golf Village's Slammer and Squire Golf Course.
Barton finished with an 874 (+10) over three rounds on the par-72, 6,939-yard course to take 10th place overall while Flagler, the host institution, won the tournament with a 28-under 836.
Barton was led by senior
Winston Knobloch (Winneconne, Wis.), who tied for 19th overall with a score of four-under 212.
Flagler's Matthew French (Jacksonville, Fla.) won in a playoff over Tristan Wieland (Jupiter, Fla.) to capture the individual title. Both players finished 36 holes in 12-under 2024.
Barton returns to the links on Monday, September 28, and Tuesday, September 29, at the Ironwood Collegiate Classic at the Ironwood Golf and Country Club in Greenville, N.C.
