MURFREESBORO, N.C. - The Barton men's soccer team (1-4-1, 0-2-1) fell to Chowan (2-2-1, 2-1) by an 8-0 score on Wednesday night in a Conference Carolinas match at the Hawks Athletic Center.

Chowan's Andre Camargo (Santo Antonio da Platina, BRAZIL) came off the bench to score twice and was one of seven players to find the back of the net for the home team.

The Hawks held a 34-8 advantage in shots taken while Lucas Kibrya (Birmingham, ENGLAND) earned the victory in goal.

Barton junior goalkeeper Devin Agostinelli (Apex, N.C.) played the first half and made five saves but suffered the loss.

Barton looks to bounce back on Saturday when the Bulldogs host Emmanuel at Truist Stadium in a league contest starting at 3:00 p.m.

Meanwhile, Chowan travels to Rome, Ga., to take on Shorter on Saturday, September 19, in league action starting at 1:30 p.m.
