WILSON, N.C. – The Barton women's soccer team (1-1) shut out Coker (1-1), 3-0, Sunday afternoon at Electric Supply Company Field and Truist Stadium to pick up its first victory of the 2026 campaign.

Barton senior midfielder Dot Tieszen (Anchorage, Alaska) scored the first two goals including the game-winning penalty kick in the 29th minute to lead the Bulldogs to the victory.

Barton senior midfielder Lilly Moss (Prairieville, La.) scored the third and final goal at the 61:32 mark of the second half and freshman goalkeeper Olivia Terranova (Fayetteville, N.C.) earned the shutout victory after stopping four shots on the day.

Coker lost despite holding a 17-6 advantage in shots taken while Makayla Webb (Moore, S.C.) suffered the loss in goal.

Barton remains at home to take on Shaw on Wednesday afternoon beginning at 4:00 p.m.

Meanwhile, Coker hosts UNC Pembroke on Wednesday starting at 6:00 p.m.
