EMORY, Va. – The Barton men's lacrosse team (4-5) scored an easy victory over Emory & Henry (1-5), 17-3, Sunday afternoon at the Food City Complex.

Zander Grimes (Draper, Va.) led all scorers with three goals while freshman attacker
Jett Carbone (North Dartmouth, Mass.) and junior midfielder
Tim Blanch (Duxbury, Mass.) both scored twice and added an assist in the rout.
Barton held a considerable edge in shots taken (67-22) in addition to a 35-30 edge in ground balls and forced the Wasps into 30 turnovers. In goal, graduate student
Luke Woollard (Kent, ENGLAND) earned the win after making a pair of saves for the Bulldogs.
For Emory & Henry, Gavin Starling (McKinney, Texas) scored twice but AJ Cakir (McKinney, Texas) suffered the loss in goal despite 10 saves on the afternoon.
Barton returns to Conference Carolinas play on Saturday, March 21, when the Bulldogs host North Greenville at 2:00 p.m., at Truist Stadium as part of Senior Day.
Emory & Henry, meanwhile, travels to Harrogate, Tenn., to face Lincoln Memorial on Wednesday starting at 3:00 p.m.
